Stan Thekaekara

Stan first became involved in social activism through a national student movement in India. He went on to live in a tribal village in Bihar for a number of years. Subsequently he founded a number of grassroots NGOs in various parts of India. In 1986 he co founded ACCORD which works with the indigenous people of the Nilgiri Hills of Southern India. He currently works as the Director of JUST CHANGE, which seeks to create a new model of fair trade and as a visiting fellow at the Skoll Centre of Social Entrepreneurship.


Vishal Talreja

Vishal shifted careers from an investment banker to join hands with 12 other friends to create Dream a Dream, a vibrant voluntary organization creating an impact on the life skills of vulnerable children in Bangalore. Today Dream A Dream works in partnership with basic support providing institutions to maximize the impact of positive intervention on 500+ children from vulnerable backgrounds and does this through an active volunteering model with more than 600 enrolled volunteers. Murray Culshaw
Murray Culshaw Consulting

Murray Culshaw is a leading light of the Bangalore and National Development world. He has been involved in all aspects of development since he worked as the national director with Oxfam for many years. He has also brought out one of the finest and most comprehensive National Directories of the NGO world in India. He has recently been working on the issue of sustainability getting local NGOs to work without foreign funds, raising finance from the Indian Corporate sector.


Anuradha Mukherjee

Anuradha Mukherjee is an independent consultant with more than ten years experience working in social development, civil society strengthening and capacity building. Anuradha is trained in Economics (Kolkata, India) and Development Communication (Ohio, USA). She has extensive experience working with civil society organizations in South Asia and Europe and with the government in India on cross sectoral issues, decentralization and local government strengthening. Anuradha has worked with Ashoka, TVE and bi lateral and multi lateral agencies such as DFID and European Commission.

Unreasonable Institute

The Unreasonable Institute selects 25 young, high-impact entrepreneurs from across the globe to attend its 10-week, mentor-intensive incubation program in Boulder, Colorado. During these 10 weeks, these entrepreneurs undergo rigorous skill training, gain access to seed capital, obtain legal advice, prototype consulting, and receive mentorship from 60 proven entrepreneurs and investors. Through this incubation program, the Unreasonable Institute's aim is to enable 25 social ventures a year to effectively address a major global issue in a way that is financially self-sustaining and globally scalable to millions of people.
