We're happy to announce that Biplab Das has joined our Advisory Group.

Fresh back from the recent November 2009 India social entrepreneurship journey, Biplab brings with him 30+ years of investment banking experience in locations as far flung as the US, Hong Kong, Germany and Switzerland. He is currently a Director at Credit Suisse focusing on development and worldwide distribution of sustainable investment products.

Biplab hails from Kolkata and currently lives in Zurich.

We're super-happy to announce that Pooja Warier, the co-founder of Journeys for Change, has been selected as a TED India Fellow.

TED runs conferences drawing some of the world’s most inspiring thinkers with the aim of spreading ideas that can shift attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world. For their upcoming inaugural India conference from 4-7 November, they have selected a number of TED Fellows, who, in their words provide “a snapshot of the creativity and innovation emerging from South Asia.”

We're delighted to announce a partnership between Journeys for Change and the Hong Kong Social Entrepreneurship Forum (HKSEF). This will enable a range of social entrepreneurship practitioners and supporters in Hong Kong & China to take part in our journeys.

HKSEF is a membership-based organization dedicating to promoting and supporting the development of social entrepreneurship in Hong Kong and around the region. It was launched in 2008.
